Australian premium grade macadamia nut kernels are available in a complete ranges of sizes called styles. Style 1 is 95% wholes, Style 2 is 50/50 wholes and halves, Style 3 is 20% wholesand 80% halves, Style 4 is minimum 80% halves, Style 5 is large pieces, Style 6 is medium chips and style 7 is small chips. All kernel is vacuum packed in a foil bag inside a shipper carton and has a shelf life of 2 years if stored in cool, dry conditions, below 15 degrees C. Primary uses are for snack nut retail packs, confectionery for chocolate coating, bakery for cookies and for use in ice cream and in restaurants food service applications.
