The Macallan in Lalique collection is the result of a collaboration between two leading names in their respective fields, one a very successful Scotch distillery, the other a world-renowned glass maker.
The Spiritual Home Decanter is the fifth release of the series, an excellent Lalique decanter containing 62-year-old Macallan, the second oldest whisky ever bottled. Created with great attention to detail by the skilled Lalique artisans, the Lalique crystal decanter was inspired by the Easter Elchies House on the Macallan Estate. The frosted, textured sides represent the sandstone walls of the manor house, which was built in 1700 under the careful eye of Captain John Grant, whose initials are featured on the decanter.
The Macallan 62-year-old has a bold cherry color, with a rich aroma encompassing flavors of toffee, raisin and blood orange and hints of spices like cinnamon and ginger, chocolate, and vanilla, and has rich taste, comprising of dried fruit and citrus, with a long woody finish.
Only 400 of these Macallan 62 Year Old In Lalique sets have been produced.
