Whisked Matcha

 

Step One: Warm the whisk (if using), and bowl with warm water. Pour out water and dry the whisk and bowl.

 

Step Two: Sift ½ teaspoon matcha powder into bowl.

 

Step Three: Pour in 3-4 ounces of hot water (not boiling). If the water is too hot, it will make the matcha bitter. Whisk by going back and forth, front to back, not circular. You will create a nice foam after a minute or two. Lift the whisk up. Enjoy!

 

 

 

 

Iced Matcha

 

Step one: Warm the whisk (if using), and bowl with warm water. Pour our water and dry the whisk and bowl

 

Step Two: Sift ½ teaspoon matcha powder into bowl.

 

Step Three: Pour in a tablespoon or two of hot water (not boiling) and whisk smooth.

 

Step Four: Add a large handful of ice cubes to the bowl, and add 1/2  to ¾ cup of water (to preference).
