Brief introduction
methanol is a colorless alcohol, hygroscopic and completely miscible with water, but much lighter (specific gravity 0.7928). It is a good solvent, but very toxic and extremely flammable. This simple single carbon alcohol is a volatile solvent and a use as toprod drag races for motor racing.

Storage:
Storage tanks for methanol are made of carbon steel. Outdoor storage is preferred, with the following safety precautions: keep away from ignition sources and excessive heat; wear goggles; rubber gloves; chemical cartridge respirator; aprons and boots.
Usage:
Methanol wide range of uses, is the foundation of the organic chemical raw materials and high-quality fuel. Mainly used in Oil & Gas or Offshore Industry, fine chemical, plastic and other fields, used to produce formaldehyde, acetic acid, methyl chloride, methyl ammonium, dimethyl sulfate and other organic products, but also pesticides, medicine and one of the important raw materials. After the deep processing of methanol as a new type of clean fuel, also joined the Blending gasoline.
