Milupa Cystilac
Milupa Cystilac is a special high-caloric formula for use in the dietary management of infants and toddlers with Cystic Fibrosis. Compared to regular infant formulas, Milupa Cystilac contains increased quantities of the fat-soluble vitamins A and E as well as sodium to meet the special needs of Cystic Fibrosis patients. Due to the hydrolysation of the proteins and the added MCT fat, Milupa Cystilac can be easily digested and is well tolerated by infants and toddlers with Cystic Fibrosis. Milupa Cystilac also contains LCP Milupan®, a patent blend of special fatty acids important for the development of the brain, the nervous system and the visual faculty.
Milupa Cystilac can be given like a normal infant formula, i.e. as a sole source of nutrition during infancy and as a supplementary feeding for toddlers.
Milupa Cystilac is a dietetic food for special medical purposes and should be used under medical supervision only. The daily amount of Milupa Cystilac depends on age, body weight, protein requirements and individual metabolic condition. It must be regularly adjusted by a physician or dietician in line with the patient’s current metabolic needs.
