Milupa MSUD products are defined protein supplements free from isoLeucine, leucine and valine, for use in the dietary management of inherited disorders of metabolism of branched chain amino acids, such as Maple syrup Urine Disease (MSUD).
Infant formula for special medical purposes
Milupa MSUD 1-mix is an infant formula based on pure L-amino acids. It contains all nutrients necessary for the normal development of an infant, in particular LCP Milupan ®, a blend of special fatty acids, and is enriched with vitamins, minerals and trace elements.
Concentrated amino acid mixtures for all age groups
Milupa MSUD 1, MSUD 2-prima, MSUD 2-secunda, MSUD 2 and MSUD 3-advanta are concentrated protein supplements based on pure L-amino acids, enriched with vitamins, minerals and trace elements in age-adapted quantities. Concentrated amino acid mixtures have the advantage that a relatively small amount will meet daily protein requirements.
All Milupa MSUD products are foods for special medical purposes and should not be used as a sole source of nutrition.
