Monopotassium Phosphate/Potassium Dihydrogen Phosphate |
|||
|
Potassium dihydrogen phosphate is a chemical with the chemical formula KH2PO4. It has deliquescence. When heated to 400 ℃, it melts into a transparent liquid, and after cooling, it solidifies into opaque glass like potassium metaphosphate. It is stable in air, soluble in water and insoluble in ethanol. In industry, it is used as buffer and culture agent; it is also used as seasoning agent of sake synthesis by bacterial culture agent; raw material of potassium metaphosphate; culture agent, strengthening agent, leavening agent and fermentation auxiliary agent for brewing yeast. In agriculture, it is used as high efficiency phosphorus potassium compound fertilizer. |
