Wine   Tasting Note		The wine is purple. Petit Mouton 2010 reveals a rich and complex nose on pleasant red fruit and Vanilla aromas with hints of cocoa. The attack is immediately round and elegant. On the palate, forward, tightly-knit tannins provide a framework for deep, ripe fruit flavours that mingle harmoniously with roasted notes. The finish is flavoursome, on fruit and vanilla notes.

Le Petit Mouton Rothschild is the second wine produced by the prestigious Chateau Mouton Rothschild. This traditional and hugely successful wine estate is in the village of Pauillac, situated in the Medoc region in the North West of Bordeaux, France. It is a consistent producer of the world’s top wines, with many claiming that the best clarets originate from this very Chateau.

 

The chateau’s frontrunner is the Mouton Rothschild, which was renamed from Brane-Mouton in 1853 by Nathan de Rothschild. Moreover, it is the first Chateau to fully grow and bottle the entire harvest. Chateau Mouton Rothschild is also a member of the fairly exclusive Primum Familiae Vini.
