The chemical composition of Makagan root: protein content is more than 10%(protein content of Maka variety on Huning lake is more than 14%), 59% carbohydrate; 8.5% fiber contains rich zinc, calcium, iron, titanium, rubidium, potassium, sodium, copper, manganese, magnesium, strontium, phosphorus, iodine and other minerals, and contains vitamin C, B1, B2, B6, A, E, B12, B5, fat content is not high. However, most of them are unsaturated fatty acids. The contents of linoleic acid and linolenic acid are over 53%. Natural active ingredients include alkaloids, sinaposide and its decomposition products, benzyl isothiocyanate, sterols and polyphenols. In 1999, American scientists discovered two new types of plant active ingredients, macamides and macaenes, and determined that these two substances have a significant role in balancing human hormone secretion. So Maka is also known as the natural hormone engine. Several special Maka alkaloids have been found in the targeted research of Maka products. With the deepening of the research, more new active substances will be isolated and identified in maka.
Step 1 : Soak 2g of sliced roots in 1 litre of water for 30 minutes.
