NaturCare Pullulan
NaturCare Pullulan is produced through fermentation of the fungus Aureobasidium Pullulans.
As an edible, odourless and practically tasteless polymer, pullulan is often used as edible film/coating functionality for inhibiting bacteria, yeast and fungus growth in among others oral hygiene products (mouth wash, breath freshner), tablets, coated foods and fresh food products.
Pullulan also has excellent viscosious, adhesion and lubrication properties for distinctive application functionalities.
Excellent solubility in water, natural low oxygen/CO2 permeability, heat sealable.
Applications : oral hygiene products, coatings for candies, tablets and capsules, adhesion in sauces and Dressing without viscosity increase, skin care products.
