What is NISSO-PB?
NISSO-PB is a liquid atactic butadiene oligomer obtained by the "living anion" polymerization of a butadiene-a technique developed independently by Nippon Soda Co., Ltd.Since it consists of carbon and hydrogen, NISSO-PB has a high affinity for olefinic resins and can be converted into paint, adhesives, molding resins and elastomers that have good chemical water-resistance, good mechanical properties of hardness and heat tolerance and good electrical characteristics. Such properties can bring dfficiencies in the utilization of materials and energy, environmental conservation and overall high performance to a wide variety of polymers.
