1) You can easily recreate the taste of a full-fledged Japanese udon specialty store simply by adding water and a dashi pack to the pan and simmering for 4-5 minutes. 2) This dashi pack contains all the seasonings needed for udon dashi so you can make delicious soup stock without adding any other seasoning.

3) Katsuobushi, the raw material for Japanese soup stock, is made from bonito fish that is boiled, smoked, dried and aged. Other companies use fish which is steamed, softened, and then ground. As a result, the taste and flavor of the katsuobushi is greatly impaired. Dashi-gura’s products are designed not to be softened at all, but rather cut directly from the fish, taking more time and resulting in a higher quality Japanese soup stock. Cooking method

When pouring over the udon noodles / 450ml of water for 1 pack

1) Put water in the pan and add the dashi pack. 2) After boiling, simmer for 4 to 5 minutes to extract. 3) Take out the dashi pack, add udon noodles and boil once.

When stewing vegetables or noodles / 400ml of water for 1 pack

1) Boil water, dashi pack and ingredients together for 4 to 5 minutes. 2) After adding the noodles or vegetables and boiling, remove the dashi pack.
Cooking example
