Oleoresin is the extract of the corresponding crude spice. The extraction is made by using hexane, methanol and other solvents. These solvents are removed after the extraction in order to comply with the German and European guidelines for residual solvents. The main difference of the Oleoresins is the solubility (oil- or water-soluble).
