This lovely green oil is fantastic for salad dressings or simply served with sea salt and ciabatta bread. The Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made from Manzarina olives, grown outside the village of Pluti at an altitiude of 600 metres on the slopes of Mount Psiloritis in Crete. There are about 500 olive trees varying from 30 to 300 years old. The olive groves have been registered organic for 15 years. The nature of the soil, the exposure to the sunlight and the area?s micro climate constitute the ideal conditions for olive cultivation.
