GMO: Clarkson Grain respects clients wanting to avoid GMO soybeans. To avoid them, we manage identity preserved programs which use a combination of tests and protocols to segregate beans by variety from the selection of the seed to the acceptance of commercial deliveries. We verify results through sampling and testing. Buyers may select an appropriate contract tolerance level. Our most disciplined program, Pure Green, works as high as 99.9% non-GMO. The lower the tolerance level, the greater the difficulty and the higher the cost.
Organic: We offer certified organic soybeans for food, feed and industrial purposes. While we recommend segregation by variety as beneficial to any use, the volumes needed for feed and industrial uses are so large that varietal segregation becomes very difficult.
