Perilla Seed Oil is obtained from the seeds of the genus perilla, usually from the species perilla frutescens. Organic perilla seed oil is rich in alpha-linolenic acid (
Alpha-linolenic acid can not be produced by our body but it must be absorbed from the daily food and other kind of health care products.
Alpha-linolenic acid transformed into EPA and DHA, which is the main content of deep sea oil.
Thus, perilla seed oil was called "plant deep sea oil" with rich content of alpha-linolenic acid.
