In order to cook golden basmati rice, soak it in water for 20-30 minutes and rinse it 3-4 times until the water becomes clear. Use 2.5- 3 cups of water per 1 cup of dry rice and put it in a pot on low flame. Cover the pot once the water reaches to the level of the rice. Allow it to sit for 10-15 minutes. Serve it hot.
