Pullulan is a kind of polysaccharides. It was produced by fermentation. It is of 100% vegetable origin, all-natural, Kosher and Vegan.
Known as E1204, it can be used as coating agent, binding agent, film forming agent etc. It was widely used in making oral care strips, empty hard capsules. What else, because it is non-animal origin, in some way, it can replace of gelatin, and it was welcomed by some ethic groups.
