Pullulan is natural water-soluble polysaccharide. It is fermented from non-GMO strain using starch as the substrate in compliance with good manufacturing practices. It is produced from non-animal source material. The average molecular weight is 2×105Da. Pullulan has been used as a food ingredient for over 20 years in Japan. It has Generally Regarded As Safe (GRAS) status in the US for a much wider range of applications.
The material of our Pullulan is top quality Tapioca starch which imported from Thailand.

Applications

Film-forming agent for hard and soft empty capsules; Tablet coating.
