CS-12 i s a kind of Cassava class cationic denaturated starches.It is a kind of

papermaking special modified starches which contains high content of branched

structure.Its p ulp liquid is steady and widely used.

CS-12

 

Function

 

CS-12 is used in wet end as strengthening, retention and drainage agent.It doesn’t affect the paper formation.It is added for making cultural paper, packing packing etc.For example, writing paper and double gummed paper.Ordinary defects such as linting and dusting could be obviously improved.CS-02 has the ability to improve internal bond strength of the paper,pulp drainability and the retention rate of high filler and fine fiber.Different efficiencies would be showed according to the different substituting degree.

Gelatinization method

Add room temperature water to Gelatinization barrel, begin stiring at a 60R/MIN Rotational Speed.Then gradually add CS-12 until starch is good disperse,the Gelatinization concentration is 5-8% usuaslly.Increase the temperature to 90-95°C through vapour or with heating jacket(Pls avoid high pressures and high temperatures).Keep on this temperature for 15-20minutes.Make the the tallest temperature 125-130°C during the continuous cooking.Using room temperature water to dilute the Pulp liquid to 1.5% concentration (it is ≤ 1% if this is making bumf )and stiring until it is homogeneous.Static Mixer or Dilute barrel could be used for diluting.
