The original Redfields vineyards were planted on deep volcanic soils set amongst rolling hills lined with towering gum trees.These ancient red soils create powerfully flavoured and dinstictive wines, inspiring the winemaker to carve "Redfileds" on the first barrel, so naming the winery.

The 2010 Redfileds Shiraz/Cabernet Merlot, is richly  aromatic with aromas of plums , fragnat spice and dark chocolate.

The pallete is full  flavoured with rich Flavours of juicy red plum, dark berries and soft savoury oak. This vibrant and fruit driven wine  is best enjoyed in its youth with a wide range of richly flavoured dishes.
