It is a clear, hygroscopic and syrupy solution.
Sodium lactate produced by B&G, are used in the meat and poulty industry as antimicrobial agent. They inhibit pathogenic and non-pathogenic bacteria such as Listeria monocytongens, Escherichia coli, Clostridium botulinum etc.
