BIONADE is fundamentally different from all other sports drinks. It is organically brewed by the fermentation of natural raw materials of organic quality.
Due to this biological fermentation process, exceptionally no alcohol is generated, but gluconic acid, a weak and organic acid, which occurs naturally in honey. This gluconic acid reacts with the water's minerals and generates mineral gluconates, such as calcium- and magnesium gluconate, which are well absorbed by the body in this form. These two minerals are antagonists and it is suggestive to absorb them in a 2:1 ratio, similar to the blood.
BIONADE Aktiv satisfies these requirements. With 400 mg calcium and 200 mg magnesium, one liter of BIONADE Aktiv satisfies more than half the recommended daily allowance of an adult.
