CS-11 is a kind of Cassava class cationic denaturated starches.It contains specilized strengthen agent.It is better than the common cationic starch which has the same substituent as its.

 

Function

CS-11 is an indispensable auxiliary for neutral papermaking technology.It is usually made of Dual Retention System with PAM.The PA dosage is 1-2% of starch.CS-11 could balance the wet end charge, improve the wet end environment,reduce the dosage of AKD during the neutral papermaking and retain better sizing effect.Moreover,CS-11 is good at strengthening, retention and drainage.

Gelatinization method

Add room temperature water to Gelatinization barrel, begin stiring at a 60R/MIN Rotational Speed.Then gradually add CS-11 until starch is good disperse,the Gelatinization concentration is 5-8% usuaslly.Increase the temperature to 90-95°C through vapour or with heating jacket(Pls avoid high pressures and high temperatures).Keep on this temperature for 15-20minutes.Using room temperature water to dilute the Pulp liquid to 1% concentration and stiring until it is homogeneous.Static Mixer or Dilute barrel could be used for diluting.
