The supercritical lutein is a kind of lutein concrete obtained from fermentation of fresh marigold flower and extraction of lutein particles by supercritical CO ₂ fluid. The product has no special smell of lutein.

Application: mainly used for medicine and health care products. The recommending dosages: 0.001-0.2% or adding it under the need.

Characteristics: dark brown liquid or paste at common temperature, soluble in the vegetable oil, ethanol, hexane and other organic solvent.
