Product Name:Taiping-Houkui
Origin: Taiping-Houkui (also called Peace monkey) is one of the most ten famous teas. It lives in Houkeng (monkey pit), and another two villages Huangshan city Anhui Province (originally named as Peace county). Due to its outstanding quality of the tea it is called Taiping-Houkui.
Character: straight and flat leaf, slightly sharp bud, fat and thick, tip, green jade, deep red nerve like an olive. When it swells in the cup, the bud leaf slowly extends into flag, two buds hug together, hang and sink; tea soup is clear and green, the aroma is high full of attractive flavor, tastes heavy and mellow. We classify it depending on quality. Houkui is the best; Houjian is the next, then Gongjian, and then Tianjian and Dijian. Summer is the period to pick Houkui tea, when one bud has one or two new leaves, we open the garden. In north Huangshan area, with the low temperature, wet atmosphere, the fat soil and the heavy fog covered, the tea has a distinctive style: stiff bud, stout and strong delicate, big and tall contour, green luster, thick fragrance, mellow taste.1915 in the tea competition hold in Panamanian, Tai Ping Hou Kui obtained the gold medal, and it is well known all of the world.
