Mixed tocopherol is a concentrated form of natural mixed tocopherols derived from edible vegetable Oils. Mixed tocopherols is a natural antioxidant product composed by d-alpha, beta, gamma and delta tocopherols used in food, in feed, and in industrial applications to delay the onset of rancidity in fats and oils and extend shelf-life.
d-Alpha Tocopherol - d-alpha tocopherol is the form of tocopherol that is better retained. It is the only form of alpha tocopherol found in nature. The low viscosity and high concentration make d-alpha tocopherol ideal for soft gel capsules.
d-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate - The esters of d-alpha tocopherol have reduced susceptibility to degradation when exposed to air or elevated processing temperatures; these particular benefits allow for flexibility in product formulations. It is d-alpha tocopheryl acetate that has been used by ADM in developing our water-dispersible Natural-Source Vitamin E.
