Description:
Whole spelt flour is a milling product, produced by milling cleaned and prepared spelt (Triticum spelta).
Consistency of the product is free, liquid, granular and free of lumps.
Purpose of use:
Whole spelt flour is produced by removing only the outer layer of the wheat (coarse bran) while sifting. This
preserves all the essential attributes of wholegrain spelt flour. Compared to ordinary spelt flour, wholegrain spelt flour is especially rich in Protein and minerals, among which iron and zinc are the most important for us. While making bread, the minerals are released from the structure of the grain and become more easily accessible to our organism. The product is used for food purposes. Heat treatment is needed.
