The outer shell of Hung Yen longan has a bronze skin color. When exposed, the thick, golden pulp is revealed, the veins are tight, the pulp is soft, and the seeds are peeled. The standard, delicious alum sugar label must ensure 3 factors: when brought to the mouth, it feels soft and crispy, sweet and delicious, and the scent is faint like the smell of honey.

Hung Yen longan has become a famous national specialty. It is in Hien pagoda, Hung Yen province where the ancestral longan tree is erected as a stele registered as a product of the ancient king.
Longan flowers bloom on drizzly and cold spring days. If you have the opportunity to visit the longan blossom season, you will feel the gentle spreading scent that captivates people. By July, longan is ripe. You will be overwhelmed when passing through Hung Yen at this time. You can touch the bunches of longan swaying in the wind. Hung Yen longan is a group of trees with a fairly high and wide canopy. Lush tree with many green branches. Longan leaves are alternately shaped like feathers. Longan blooms in spring for pretty pale yellow flowers.
Longan is relatively colder tolerant than some plants such as litchi and is not too picky about soil. Longan is well adapted to nutrient-rich, sandy soil. In addition to growing from seeds, longan is now commonly grown by the extraction or grafting method. Plants grown beyond the 3rd year will bear fruit and the fruiting time is also very long. Longan plants like moisture but do not tolerate waterlogging. New planting time should be watered every 2 days. In the following months, gradually reduce the number of watering times. In the dry season, the amount of water should be increased, and in the rainy season, waterlogging should be avoided.
