AF 512 is a food and industrial grade Modified Tapioca Starch.

Technical Properties:

*  Preparation in water produces a high viscous and stable gel in different conditions of time.

*  Promotes a medium-long and cohesive gel.

Applications and Benefits:

* AF 512 can be used a a thickener in food as a base material for industrial applications (starch based adhesive, on site converted oxidised starch, spray starch etc) that requires good stability in low/medium pH and/or medium/high temperatures.

* AF 512 is consiered a stabilized starch and th chemicla reaction with Esterifying reagents helps retarding process mainly in particular on the linear Amylose molecules.

Shelf-Life:

24 months from production date in sealed packaging. providing the correct transportation and storage conditions described aside.

Handling, Storage and Transportation:

This product must be stored in dry and ventilated places in its own closed packaging and protected against the action of insects and rodents.
