What is Huperzia Serrata Extract Huperzine A?

 

Huperzia serrata is luxuriant plants, it has the total of eight varieties of medicinal plants in China.China is the biggest wild sugihara. Huperzine A extracted from a club moss (Huperzia serrata), is a sesquiterpene alkaloid and a powerful and reversible inhibitor of acetylcholinesterase (AChE) with on- and off-rates.

 

Huperzine A has been used in China for centuries for the treatment of swelling, fever and blood disorders. Huperzine A has demonstrated both memory enhancement in animal and clinical trials and neuroprotective effects.

 

Huperzine A has potent pharmacological effects and, particularly since long-term safety has not been determined, it should only be used with medical supervision. Huperzine A may have some effectiveness in Alzheimer's disease and age-related memory impairment. Huperzine A has been used to treat fever and some inflammatory disorders, but there is no credible scientific evidence to support these uses.
