We produce a refreshing White Guava Puree from the creamy white variety of guava grown in tropical regions of North India. While choosing the fruit, guavas with faint brown spots covering the outer skin are preferred. This concentrate is manufactured through an exhaustive process where the fruits are first inspected, washed, blanched—where all the oxidative enzymes gets inactivated; after blanching, the residue passes through a screw paddle through which maximum pulp is obtained. Pulp, rich in quality puree is heated and blended for a considerable time at a resistant temperature. The processed Guava Puree is then packed in aseptic bag or drums using a polyliner. Also, the de-aerated guava Puree Concentrate has is more hygienic and has a better shelf life as it can retain even small amounts of Ascorbic Acid in it. Guava Puree Concentrate can be broadly used to make candies, preserves, jellies, jams, marmalades, juices, nectars, baby food, beverages, ice-cream, sauces, snacks, and cereal bars. Tropical and sub-tropical guava fruit contains powerful antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents.
