    (5)  Sprinkle the contents in your garden  

    (6)  Dispose of wrapper in combustible trash

2.  How does a  Instant Hot Pack  work?

   Each  Instant Hot Pack  heat pad contains iron powder, water, vermiculite, carbon and salt. When  you  open a  Instant Hot Pack , the iron oxidizes with the air, creating heat. If you accidentally open  it  up,  quickly seal it in a plastic bag to stop the oxidization process.

3.  Why should I not use your pads if I am diabetic?                                                                                                              

  The directions recommend you check with your doctor before using them because some diabetics    have no sensation in their extremities and wouldn't be able to judge whether the  Instant Hot Pack   heat pad or foot pad was getting too hot. Thus they could end up burning themselves without feeling it.

4.  Why can’t I wear it directly on my skin?

   You might burn yourself.  Instant Hot Pack  will feel cozy at first, but after a while it will heat right up  without you noticing and might feel too hot. You will probably start to sweat too, in which case the  pad will slip off and you won’t get your 12 hours of guaranteed heat.

5.  Why shouldn’t I wear it to bed?

   If you fall asleep wearing a  Instant Hot Pack , you cannot properly monitor your comfort level. The  heat might sneak up on you and cause a burn.

6.  Are they bad for the environment?
