Cava
Description
As a wine critic, Joan Nebot, has remarked in his recent articles that our Sparkling wine is the only champagne from the Penedes.
In contrast to many sparkling wines produced in the DO Cava (an artificial region which can include all of the Catalan wine regions and small islands in Requena, Valencia, Rioja, Navarra and Extremadura, our sparkling wine originates in a single and specific wine region, Penedes.
This sparkling wine has gone through a second fermentation in the bottle. A blend of Xarello and Chardonnay, it is produced with mature grapes to achieve a higher level of Alcohol and consequently more body and structure.

Tasting notes
Bright straw colour with a green tinge. Aroma of ripe fruit, mountain herbs and spices. In the mouth it is fruity, full flavoured, with sweet, bitter and balsamic notes. (2008 Penin Guide)
Serving Suggestions
We recommend it especially as an appetizer, with oysters, seafood in general, grilled fish and baked meat.
