Introduction: Carrageenan is natural polysaccharide hydrophilic colloid extracted from Marine red alga with the color white to light yellow powder and odourless tasteless,It is a copolymer consisting of calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium,sulfate galactose and 3, 6 - dehydration galactose.The product is obtained by water extraction from algae eucheuma and have high transparency and gel strength etc.
In food industry,it is used as gelling agent, stabilizer, thickener, suspending agent and water bonding agent etc.It can stable emulsion, control fluid contraction, informs, cementation and dispersion, etc.

6. Dispersibility and Solubility: Because carrageenan can be hydration in low temperature,its hydration rate,
viscosity and gel strength will be effected in aqueous solution or dairy product in the event of improper dispersion.Usually,pre-blend sugar, malt dextrin or salt with 5x-10x carrageenan weight, adding the mixture to water(or other solvent)to disperse carrageenan molecules and reduce lump in water.If we use high shear in process,it will break lump and make hydration completely.
7. Packaging: 25KG/bag multilayer kraft paper bag ( The inner is polyethylene bag ), All packaging materials are in compliance with the FDA and EU relevant food standards.
