Leonate Pecorino - 13.5% - Dry White Wine

The wine has a brilliant and intense yellow colour with golden reflections, typical aromas of Citrus and exotic fruits, balsamic herbs and spices. Balanced taste, medium-bodied and elegant with good acidity and slightly mineral. Served at 10-12 °C, it is perfect with seafood, cheese, soups, first courses and white meat.

Leonate Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo - 13% - Dry Red Wine

For the production of this particular selection of Cerasuolo, the selected Montepulciano grapes, manually picked in early October, are de-stemmed and then laid for pre-fermentative pellicular maceration for 36 hours at a low temperature. Subsequently, the grapes are pressed and the must is decanted and undergoes alcoholic fermentation, part of which takes place in french oak barrels. After racking, the wine is left on its own lees for about four months in steel containers.

Leonate Montepulciano d'Abruzzo - 14.5% - Dry Red Wine

Important red wine from Montepulciano grapes, hand-picked also when very mature, from the second week to the end of October. De-stemmed and pressed, it is laid in steel containers for 10-15 days for fermentative maceration. After racking, the wine undergoes natural malolactic fermentation. Part of the wine is aged in steel containers and another part aged in french oak barrells for about 18-24 months and is subsequently refined in bottles for six months.
