Cocoa bean, also cacao bean or simply cocoa or cacao, is the dried and fully fermented fatty bean of Theobroma cacao.
Our Cocoa is a deviation of the Malaysian word cacao, derived from the Nahuatl word cacahuatl. Cocoa can often also refer to the drink commonly known as hot chocolate; to COCOA POWDER, the dry powder made by grinding cocoa seeds and removing the cocoa butter from the dark, bitter cocoa solids; or to a mixture of cocoa powder and cocoa butter.

Our Cacao Beans are sourced from Peru and Malaysia where they are naturally fermented to remove bitterness - creating a smooth, rich chocolate flavor.
