Natamycin is not only broadly and highly effectively inhibits the growth of various moulds and yeasts, but also inhibits the production of their toxins. It can be widely used in food preservation and as an anti-fungal treatment.
We advise 3 methods for cheese application.
A: soaking method
Use 75% ethyl alcohol or water to make 300-500ppm natamycin suspension, soak cheese in suspension for 2-4 minutes
B: spray method
Use 75% ethyl alcohol or water to make 200-300ppm natamycin suspension, spray on the cheese surface
C: coating method
Make 100ppm natamycin and spray on the cheese coat which cover the cheese.
