Description

Guar Gum is the ground endosperm of the seed of the Guar plant Cyamopsis tetragonolobus L. Taub (family Leguminosae).

Components

Guar Gum mainly consists of hydrocolloidal Polysaccharide with a high molecular weight, which consists of galactopyranose- and mannopyranose-units in glycoside linkage which can be chemically described as galactomannan. It is available in conventional and organic quality. It is available in conventional and organic quality.

Application

As binding agent, Dietary Fibre and stabiliser in food, bread, cakes and pastries, pharmacy, paper, textile and drilling industry.
