Spanish company can supply two different types of Whey Powder:

 

  • SWEET FOOD GRADE: generated in the process of production of pressed Paste cheese used for rennet coagulation, chymosine or vegetable rennets. Its Dornic acidity is generally between 5 and 26, the concentration in Lactose is 68-75% and the content of lactic acid is generally lower than in acid whey.
  • ANIMAL FEED GRADE: produced mainly in the production of casein owing to the addition of an acid that produces coagulation (the acid is generally chlorohydric). Another part of the acid whey from the coagulation of casein caused by the seeding of lactic bacteria in the production of soft paste cheeses. These have a high level of acidity, sometimes reaching a Dornic level of 120; the average lactose content is tends to be 60% with an increase of the lactic acid and minerals.

 

We regularly submit to audits of AENOR as a testing measure of our levels of management. We have certified our Quality System under the UNE-EN-ISO-9001:2008 Standard and our Environment System based on the UNE-EN-ISO-14001:2004 Standard. This helps us to ensure the quality and hence, to satisfy our customers.
To strengthen  our self-control  HACCP  system, all plants  of the group have obtained  the IFS (International Food Standard) certificate, which  allows  us to guarantee the security and innocuousness of our products, achieving consolidated  relations  of  mutual  trust with our customers and consumers.
In the same vein, we also have the certificate BRC (British Retail Consortium), seal of great recognition for export.
