The lightest of the crystal malts with its brilliant golden colour, Caramel malt is valued for its full caramel flavour and improved foam stability. Cara malt is made from green malt, but it is roasted at lower temperatures and for a shorter time than Crystal Malt. This produces the special caramel aroma.
Usage:Use 5-50% to improve over all body
Pilsner, light Beer, Lager, Kölsch, reduced-alcohol beer, special beer as well as in other dark beers
