application and indication |
Anti-inflammatory |
take cavy as experimental animal, hesperidin has an improvement effect on eye conjunctival intravascular coagulation of blood cells caused by vitamin C deficiency in cavy and low resistibility of capillary. In other words, hesperidin can enhance the effect of vitamin C. However, it is reported that hesperidin can reduce the coagulation of blood cells. Mixing hespridin with hromobogenic or atherosclerosis to feed cavy, it will prolong survival time of cavy. What’s more, it can promote the growth rate of cavy in vitamin C deficiency by increasing the content of vitamin C in adrenal gland, spleen and white blood cells. |
Anti-virus |
put fibro cells of cavy into 200ug/ml hesperidin for hatching in advance before adding vesicular stomatitis virus, with such handling which can protect cells from virus for about 24hours. Similarly, hatching Hela cells in the same way can prevent influenza virus infection. However, the anti-virus activity of hesperidin can be cancelled by hyaluronidase.? |
