FUNCTION

1) Suitable for diabetic patients to eat, will not cause the rise of blood sugar and insulin.

3) Isomaltose hydrolyzes slower than sucrose and absorbs more slowly than sucrose, so isomaltose can be used as sweetener for diabetes mellitus.

5) Reasonable negative heat of dissolution, the negative heat of dissolution of isomaltol is only - 39.4KJ/kg.

6) Sweetness is pure and natural. It can be used with other strong sweeteners to conceal the bad taste of other strong sweeteners.

7) High stability, isomaltol can not be used by most microorganisms, so the products produced by isomaltol have longer shelf life.

8) Non-hygroscopicity, isomaltitol has very low hygroscopicity compared with sucrose, glucose or some oligosaccharides.
