Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso is a red Italian wine Grape grown predominantly in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of northeast Italy. The grape is a variety in the Refosco family (which also includes e.g. Terrano) and derives its name from its red stems.

CULTIVATION: Guyot, planting density 5.000 Plants/Ha.
HARVEST PERIOD: First two weeks of October.
VINIFICATION: Selected Grapes are vinified with maceration varying from 12-15 days with daily plunging at controlled temperatures. Completion of Malolactic fermentation in steel. Followed by bottle ageing for 4 months.
CELLARING POTENTIAL: 4 - 5 years from production.
COLOUR: Strong red ruby with violet tints.
NOSE: Enveloping with its elegant musk fragrances and for its hints of wild berries.
FLAVOUR: Aristocratic and elegant in its perfect harmony.
PAIRINGS: Pairs well with baked red meat and game.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 18 C.
