Our cooked hams are unique, obtained using only the best fresh pork legs from strictly controlled breeders and slaughterhouses.

Almost a century of experience searching for the perfect balance between ancient recipes, temperature and production techniques assures that the leg mass and organoleptic qualities remain intact during processing. Long, light churning, low concentrate of brine (salt, water and precious spices) and then slow steam cooking assure Leoncini hams their delicate, harmonious perfume, an exceptionally soft slice, and an unmistakeable shade of pink.

According to the regulations in force, all our cooked hams fall under the categories "Cotto Alta Qualita" and "Cotto Scelto": In its constant pursuit of its high quality polices, the company does not produce the so-called "Common" cooked ham. They are all totally free of gluten, soya protein, plasmatic proteins, starches and potato flour.
