Product Application
Calcium lactate from HonghuiBio is widely applied in the fields of beverages, foods, medicines and so on. In addition, calcium lactate, as good cross-linking agent, can be used in jelly and gum to stabilize and strengthen gel while used in sausage to enhance adhesion, reduce cooking loss and keep the meat juicy. In this way, calcium lactate can make sausage taste and look good while improving the antibacterial ability. As curing agent and embrittlement agent, calcium lactate can be used to package fruits and preserve vegetables, also reduce the loss of cured products, maintain the shape and increase the brittleness.
Calcium lactate from HonghuiBio can be used in beverages. If 100ml beverage needs contain 0.15g supplementary calcium, calcium lactate is considered to use 1.09g per 100ml beverage in it, but calcium gluconate will be needed 1.61g. It does mean that calcium lactate can reduce the add amount rate of 30% and is more economic than calcium gluconate. (In addition, calcium gluconate is more expensive than calcium lactate.)
