Perfume : intense, fruity and delicate, with nice aromatic overtones.

 

Taste: full-bodied, soft and fresh, with a slightly bitterish aftertaste and a hint of bread crust.

 

Serving temperature : 10-12c.

 

Ageing: 2-3 years; best drunk young to fully appreciate its qualities.

 

Best served with: all kinds of hors-d’oeuvres, white meat, fish and shell-fish; excellent as an aperitif. This wine differs from traditional Arneis wines due to the special grading of the grapes grown on ground particularly well-suited to the growing of this vine in the “ costa delle rose ” vineyard, located at the top of a hill facing south-east. The grapes undergo soft pressing and cold maceration for around 20 hours; the temperature-controlled fermentation which follows results in a wine which stands out for its distinct tasting qualities an uniqueness.
