A fresh white Wine with rich friut flavor, softness and sweetness. Protected geographical Indication-Danube valley, Bulgaria.
Variety characteristic :
The variety is obtained from a seed in the town of Ange, France by Robert Moreal in 1852. Today it is widespread in almost all vine growing countries. The grain is small spherical, juicy with pleasant taste and strong typical Muscat flavor. Muscat Ottonel is from middle to comparatively early ripening variety. Usually it is picked during the first half of September but often also in the end of August. It has satisfying stability by low winter temperatures. This variety accumulates enough sugars – from 19,1 to 24,15% but the titrate acidity in warm regions is low. The white dry wines prepared from this variety are impressive with intensive scent with florid character reminding of violas and geranium, a high density and moderate freshness. The wines are consumed young. From this variety can be produced very good special wines.
