Frappato IGT is a light ruby red with a fragrant and fruity bouquet. The taste of cherries, Blackberries is enveloped
by a slight spiciness. Its gentle tannins have great personality and are well balanced making it particularly
suited to accompany thousands of versions of pasta dishes especially those with seafood and fresh fish. Also recommended as a pairing with semi-aged cheeses and grilled fish.

Vineyards: Nanfro in Caltagirone (Catania) 400 m above sea level
Soil: Sandy, with a layer of clay
Age of vines: 15 years
Cultivation system: Guyot
Harvest: End of September
Vinification method: De-stemming and pressing with maceration of the skins at controlled temperatures of 82 – 86 degrees F. for 8/10 days. Ageing 6 months in concrete and then 4 in the bottle
